Exciting changes are ahead for McCurtain Schools! At the regular McCurtain Board of Education meeting on February 10, Talitha "Tally" Butcher was officially named the superintendent for the 2025-2026 school year.
A proud lifelong resident of McCurtain, Mrs. Butcher graduated from McCurtain High School in 1997 and has remained deeply committed to the success of the district. Mrs. Butcher previously served as McCurtain High School’s principal from 2017 to 2019, where she made a lasting impact on student lives.
With a deep-rooted connection to the community, and a clear vision for the future, the Board of Education is confident that Mrs. Butcher is the perfect choice to lead McCurtain Schools into its next chapter. Her leadership promises to bring growth, innovation, and continued excellence to the district.
